The PackRat uses the same unique digital switching system found in JHS multimode pedals like the Muffuletta and Bonsai. It routes 261 components through 40 individual switches, allowing each mode to operate as a fully analog circuit that faithfully recreates the character of the original RAT variations—including the unique component aging that helps define their sound.
From classic overdrive and aggressive distortion to saturated, fuzzy textures, the PackRat gives you an enormous range of RAT-inspired tones without needing a collection of vintage and hard-to-find pedals.
