The Gibson SG Standard '61 Faded retains the styling of the legendary original models from the early 1960s. It features a solid mahogany body with the classic double-cutaway SG shape, complete with deeply sculpted body scarfing and double horns. The faded nitrocellulose lacquer finish gives it an unmistakable vintage vibe. A 5-ply teardrop-shaped pickguard, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and a Graph Tech nut complete the package. Individual volume and tone controls are hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors and audio taper potentiometers.
