Gibson Custom Shop 1957 L-5 CES Reissue in Antique Natural
The L-5 CES is one of the great archtop designs, and this Custom Shop reissue brings back the 1957 version for players chasing that classic Gibson hollowbody tone. A carved spruce top over flame maple back and sides gives it the warmth and air of a true archtop, while a pair of gold-covered '57 Classic humbuckers keeps it round and articulate plugged in. Antique Natural, multi-ply binding, a tortoise pickguard, and the engraved L-5 tailpiece give it the look of a real fifties original.
