"Back in 2024, I announced a special project where I would be making a grab and go version of Jerry's iconic rig borrowing the styling of his setup and doing my best to nail his late 70s guitar tone when he was using JBL D and K 120 speakers pretty much exclusively. I was able to source about 50 original JBL speakers and have them rebuilt for a limited edition run of amplifiers, but the whole process was difficult and expensive and in the end I decided not to release this amplifier in my regular lineup.
I changed my mind about that when in early 2025 I announced Milkman has completed a faithful reproduction of the JBL speaker called the Milkman Alnico Speaker. Now I am pleased to offer this amplifier in my regular lineup - however the availability is still somewhat restricted because of the time consuming nature and expense of an amplifier like this."
