Underneath, a warm mahogany back adds resonance and sustain along with the focused midrange and natural warmth mahogany is prized for in semi-hollow builds. Together the two woods deliver a balance that sings through the humbucking voices and stays clear and articulate in the single-coil positions. Smoked black hardware throughout, including the Gen III tremolo, Phase III tuners, and controls, sets a modern, refined contrast against the finish for a look that belongs on a stage.
