The AZES40 is part of the AZ Essentials series, designed to bring the tone, versatility, and playability of the celebrated AZ lineup to beginner and intermediate players. This guitar features a 25-inch scale length for easier playing, an All Access Neck Joint for superior playability at higher frets, and a 250mm fingerboard radius. The T106 bridge is equipped with Comfort round Steel saddles for better playing comfort. The dyna-MIX 9 switching system offers nine sound variations and can switch between humbucker and single coil modes. The guitar includes series-specific features such as a Mono-unit output jack and medium frets to enhance note accuracy.
