Vintage 1974 Fender Telecaster Deluxe

The 1974 Fender Telecaster Deluxe is a unique and powerful designed specifically to rival the humbucker sound of the Gibson Les Paul. This model deviates significantly from traditional Telecasters by featuring a pair of powerful, Seth Lover-designed Wide Range Humbucking (WRHB) pickups, each controlled by its own volume and tone knob in a layout familiar to Gibson players, along with a three-way toggle switch located on the upper bout. Distinctive physical characteristics include the large, Stratocaster-style headstock, a comfortable "C" profile maple neck, and the era's common three-bolt neck plate with a "bullet" truss rod adjustment. Although the original production run was short, the 1974 Telecaster Deluxe is now a highly sought-after vintage guitar, celebrated by rock and indie players for its rich, versatile tone that successfully blends classic Fender clarity with the fat, driving power of a dual-humbucker instrument.
