The Yamaha URX22C is a compact, rugged metal-chassis USB-C audio/MIDI interface built for solo musicians, streamers and mobile producers who demand high-quality sound with a streamlined workflow. It offers a 2-in/2-out architecture with two XLR/¼″ combo mic/line inputs (each equipped with Yamaha’s Class-A D-PRE mic preamps and phantom power) plus one of the inputs switchable to Hi-Z for guitar or bass. The interface supports up to 32-bit/192 kHz resolution and uses USB-C (with USB 3.0 / Gen1 support) for fast, stable connectivity. Onboard DSP enables latency-free monitoring and real-time effects (via the dspMixFx app) such as REV-X reverb, channel strip and guitar amp simulations, freeing you from relying on heavy plugin processing during tracking or livestreaming. MIDI DIN in and out are provided for synthesizer/controller integration, and direct monitoring with loopback makes this interface well-suited for streaming, podcasting or gaming setups.
