The Rickenbacker 620 is built around the famous "Cresting Wave" cutaway body, a design that goes back to the 1950s, and it's solid maple all the way through. A neck-through maple build gives it rich sustain and that bright, chiming Rickenbacker voice. A pair of Rickenbacker's own Hi-gain pickups are wired to the same exacting standards as the 300 series, and stereo output lets you go mono or split the pickups to two amps. Double binding, triangle pearloid inlays on rosewood, and the classic "R" tailpiece give it a look nothing else has.
