Pairing back and sides of bocote — a beautifully figured Mexican hardwood — with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, this custom Grand Pacific dreadnought promises an inspiring playing experience marked by rich tonal nuances and impeccable craftsmanship. Our special roasting recipe adds a touch of aged-in sweetness and depth to the bocote’s rich lows, sparkling midrange and high-fidelity trebles. A suite of ornate shell appointments includes a paua peghead logo, paua rosette and Longhorn fretboard inlays with gold mother-of-pearl centers. Other details include black/white top and rosette purfling, ebony binding and peghead veneer, Gotoh 510 tuners in antique chrome, dark-stained bone bridge pins, and a striking firestripe pickguard in faux tortoiseshell. It’s finished off with a full-body gloss and a subtle aged toner treatment for the top. This custom model ships with ES2 electronics with TaylorSense and a Western Floral deluxe hardshell case.
