This custom Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric features an array of elegant wood appointments and the rare tonewood combination of grafted walnut back and sides paired with a striped Western red cedar top. Voiced with V-Class bracing, this model yields an articulate top end with rich midrange presence and a warm low-end character. A comfort-enhancing beveled armrest in flamed maple headlines the wood appointments alongside flamed maple body and soundhole binding, maple/black top and rosette purfling, and a single-ring rosette with maple frames, ebony fields, and a Roman Leaf design. Other details include a Hard Rock maple peghead logo, an ebony heel cap, a Hard Rock maple bridge, and peghead and fretboard inlays with a classic pattern from our 2001-2010 900 Series guitars. Final aesthetic touches include a gold strap pin, Gotoh 510 tuners in antique gold with black buttons, and brown-stained bone bridge pins with awabhi dots. A light-shaded, hand-sprayed chocolate edgeburst accentuates the back, sides and mahogany neck, while an aged toner color treatment slightly darkens the cedar top. This custom build is finished off with a full-body gloss and a satin sheen for the neck. It ships with ES2 electronics, a pre-installed TaylorSense unit and a brown deluxe hardshell case.
