About Yvette Young:
Yvette Young is an American musician, songwriter, and visual artist best known as the frontwoman and guitarist for the math rock band Covet. Raised in San Jose, California, she was classically trained in piano and violin from a young age before teaching herself acoustic guitar by ear during her recovery from an eating disorder. Known for her unique style blending intricate two-handed tapping, fingerstyle technique, and alternate tunings, she has earned widespread acclaim, including being named one of the greatest guitarists of all time by Rolling Stone in 2023. Beyond composing music, the UCLA Fine Arts graduate also applies her visual arts background to hand-paint custom graphics on her signature instruments and design her own album artwork.

Yvette will be showcasing the 2^nd Generation TransAcoustics from Yamaha. She also uses the Acompass60 Amp (with some effects) and vocals. This will be an unforgettable night of guitar virtuosity. And it's totally free… Wednesday, November 11 in Bozeman and Thursday, November 12 in Billings. Both shows start at 6pm.
