Since the early '90s, Jerry Cantrell has been a force on the guitar scene. As the founder and lead guitar player for Alice in Chains, his impact can not be overstated.

Throughout his career, one of his favorite guitars has been his Gibson Les Pual Custom in wine red, which he affectionately named "Wino". It is that guitar that the Gibson Custom Shop and Murphy Lab decided was the perfect guitar to replicate to honor Jerry with a signature, Les Paul.

This extremely limited (only 100 made) guitar has many special touches that truly make it stand out with the look and feel of Jerry's "Wino".  At first glance, you will notice a Murphy Lab aged "Wino" Wine Red finish that is finished over a Mahogany body and plain Maple top. The body has 9-hole weight relief.

The powerplant of the Wino is a classic set of Gibson Humbuckers, the 490R, and 498T. To add to the tonal options, the bridge is a Fishman Powerbridge piezo system, allowing acoustic-like sounds in an instant. To maximize the Powerbridge, a stereo output jack allows the humbucker and piezo signal to go to separate amps.

Gold hardware and a cream binding round out the aesthetics of this beautiful guitar.

The Jerry Cantrell Wino Les Paul is a Les Paul that can check all the boxes... classic Les Paul tone, weight relief for comfort, Murphy Aged for style, and a Powerbridge for versatility.  Whether you are a collector or a player (or both!) the Jerry Cantrell “Wino” Les Paul Custom is a guitar you need to check out.
