From the first year of production this 1938 Gibson SJ-200 features Rosewood back and sides, Spruce top and 2-piece Maple neck. Replaced bridge with the original inlays and the unique 6 individual height adjustable saddle bearings which were standard on the very early SJ-200s. Guitar was refinished many years ago and has developed many lacquer checks. Two top cracks and one very short back crack that have all been expertly repaired. The sound is big and full as you would expect from an 82 year old SJ-200!
